The culmination of a year of progression, this eponymous 3-track EP is a small sample of the ever-expanding repetoire of groovy alternative electro-rock, fresh 21st century funk, massive electronic attacks and malicious beats of the Danish band Kaskelot. In disregard of stylistic puritism, the sound of Kaskelot is a journey across the musical spectre, recognizing the past and embracing the future in a euphonious continuum. Kaskelot is, however, best enjoyed live, and should the opportunity present itself, be sure to grasp it for a musical experience beyond the ordinary.
